Agents of Change

𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 youth exchange was organized between 4-13 October 2024 in Vatra Dornei-Romania. In the youth exchange took part 35 young individuals and 7 youth leaders from Romania, Greece, Turkey, Spain , Czech Republic, Italy, and Poland.

The project engaged young participants through interactive activities focused on critical thinking and reliable information about the environment and sustainability. Participants explored key environmental actions across Europe, such as renewable energy and recycling, sharing practices from their home countries and reflecting on their role in shaping a sustainable future.

By promoting eco-friendly behaviors and empowering young people to act responsibly, this youth exchange highlighted the vital role youth play as future agents of change.

𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 were to:

Equip 42 youngsters from 7 European countries with critical thinking skills for sustainability.

Map youth-led best practices in critical thinking on environmental issues to boost awareness of a sustainable Europe.

Strengthen partner organizations’ capacity for accurate information and green initiatives.

𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 was built on a series of 4 phases, that covered full 8 days of activities, as follows:

Phase 1 – Group cohesion and building a team

Phase 2 – Common learning and exploration

Phase 3 – Experimentation and generation of results

Phase 4 – Continuation and follow-up

𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩 𝐛𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐬, were: Teambuilding and group cohesion, Mapping the local situations regarding green sustainability, Reality checks in our countries, Creative workshops with children in the local community on green recycling and sustainability, Youth Pass self-assessment process, Reflection time, Evaluation and feedback.
