WE ARE

The Youth for Sustainable Development Association, known as Asociatia Tineret pentru Dezvoltare Durabila (ATDD), a vibrant and dynamic non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 2010 and localized in the southwestern Romania regional town Targu-Jiu.

MISSION

ATDD's primary mission is to create a conducive framework and provide support for the personal development of young individuals from 16 up to 30 years old.

ACCREDITATION

In 2020 ATDD received the prestigious Erasmus+ Accreditation in the field of youth, a testament to the high-quality work performed by the organization's staff during its 13 years of continuous activity. 

The accreditation, valid from 2021 to 2027, allows ATDD to implement youth mobility projects on topics such as creativity, entrepreneurship, employability, critical thinking, correct information, green transformation, cultural awareness and inclusion.

Erasmus+

ATDD has an outstanding experience in youth work, with a focus on non-formal education methods and activities. ATDD has organized high quality international youth activities all the way back in 2011, during the Youth in Action programme. Since its creation, the association has organized dozens of projects involving hundreds of youngsters all across Europe. ATDD created strong partnerships and cooperation with NGOs, public authorities, educational institutions from over 20 European countries. ATDD continues to work restlessly for the personal development of youngsters in Romania and beyond, bringing its contribution to the Erasmus+ programme.
