Barcelona Sport Events

Barcel’hona Sports Events was established in 2014, dedicated to the organization of sporting events. The founding members, Francisco Caballero and José Antonio Nevado have almost 40 years of basketball experience, first as players and later as coaches and Sport Directors of some clubs in the Barcelona area. This experience in the world of basketball makes them know in depth the club community of Catalonia, as well as the Catalan and Spanish competitions.

During all this time Barcel’hona Sports Events have created a network of collaboration with many clubs and regional federations in Spain, which has allowed us to organize Training Camps and Tournaments with the participation of clubs and national federations from all over the world. Their partners include clubs and national federations from Europe (Spain, Scotland, United Kingdom, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Hungary, France), as well as from the rest of the world: Japan, USA and Australia.

Among the basketball tournaments organized, the Torneig de Bàsquet Junior “Ciutat de L’Hospitalet” is the most remarkable event, an U18 tournament which is possibly the most prestigious and historic Tournament on the European scene (in 2022 it reached its 43rd edition); and the International Cadet Tournament of the CB Sant Josep de Badalona, of which are the co-founders.

European Youth Centre Břeclav z.s.

EYCB is non-profit nongovernmental organization founded by young people for young people in 2007. Our main aims and activities are informing and raising awareness of the European Union and its educational programs, promoting self-fulfilment and personal development of young people through educational programs of the European Union and developing non-formal education, intercultural dialogue, international cooperation and active civil society.

We are an active young NGO focusing on the programme Erasmus+: Youth in a rural area of the Czech Republic, on the borders of Austria and Slovakia. Because of our rural location, unemployment is high, and the youth unemployment is rocketing. Public life and possibilities of active participation in our town are not much developed. Therefore, in our youth work we try to offer the youths we work with as many possibilities for their self-development by encouraging them and enabling them to attend educational projects funded through the EU programmes, such as Erasmus+ Youth, Europe for Citizens, Visegrad Fund. We also offer youths the opportunity to become a volunteer in our NGO, so that they can learn how to independently come up, plan, execute and lead their own activities – be it local, regional, or international.
