Resources
Here, you can explore a range of non-formal tools, methods, and examples of activities developed and implemented during the Youth Accreditation project 2021-2027.
They were carried out with the support of Youth for Sustainable Development staff, trainers, facilitators and participants from over 15 European countries.
Take a look and embrace the dream of creativity and entrepreneurship, while developing your competences in the field! Be aware of the news and information spread around you and build up a true critical thinking character!
The resources cover two main areas of intervention in the youth non-formal education, as follows:
Critical Thinking & Correct Information
Critical thinking is one of the most valuable future skills in the context of nowadays intense digitalization of societies. Youngsters around Europe are in the front line when it comes to exposure to fake news and disinformation. According to Eurostat, 83% of the population in the EU considers that disinformation represents a danger to the societies and democracies. Identifying and tackling disinformation goes hand in hand with the critical thinking skill. One cannot exist without the other.
We are living in a fast-forward society, and we are permanently exposed to significant quantities of information. Societies and communities are full speed ahead when it comes to flows of information. However, the information we receive on various channels is sometimes distorted or lacks clarity. Youth is often exposed to disinformation and misinformation. We often see this as transforming in propaganda or fake-news, when misleading is used to promote a political cause or point of view.
ask yourselves
Do we have the motivation to embrace critical thinking skills as tools to enhance correct information among youth?
Are we open for using non-formal methods of education for tackling fake-news and propaganda?

Creativity & Entrepreneurship
We are all living challenging times that push our creativity to the limit. Youth is on the front-line for shaping tomorrow’s societies by their ideas and entrepreneur skills. We are easy to adapt, ready to face challenges, we embrace success and we are not afraid of failures. Are we really aware and use at maximum the resources that the modern society brought to us in such a short time? What if it would only take us a fraction of our time to put into practice our creative ideas and entrepreneurial initiatives in youth work?
ask yourselves
Do we have a motivation to embrace the digital skills to scale up our life and creative ideas?
Do we know how to transform our dreams and ideas in initiatives that our communities really need?
